Bleach

Before you dye or tint your hair, we recommend that you always use a good bleach. This is so that the dyed result will be as similar to the reference color in the jar (or the color samples) as possible.

It is especially important to bleach your hair first if you are looking for a very light result, or dye your hair with one of our pastel colors. In this case, the hair should be bleached until it is almost white before the tint is applied to the hair.
Manic Panic Bleach
We have a few different varieties of bleach to choose from, both come from Manic Panic and are some of the absolute best on the market. One is in volume 30, perfect for using when you don't want to bleach your hair too “hard”, or want to dye your hair a darker shade. The other is in volume 40, a stronger bleach that gives a more visible, white result. Instructions for using Manic Panic’s bleach are included in the package.
