You use Colour Protecting Conditioner by first using Directions Color Protecting Shampoo. Then rinse your hair thoroughly and apply the conditioner. Leave the conditioner on for a minute or so before rinsing your hair. Feel free to use the Color Protecting Conditioner together with Direction's hair dyes.
