You use Pre Color Shampoo just before you dye your hair. Apply the shampoo by first rinsing the hair thoroughly and then applying the shampoo. Feel free to let the shampoo work for a few minutes before rinsing your hair. Feel free to use Color Protecting Shampoo and Conditioner together with Direction's hair colors.
