Stargazer's colors last differently depending on your hair quality. But as an estimate, the color usually stays for approx. 6-10 washes. To achieve the best results, the color should be applied to as bleached hair as possible. Bleached hair also applies if you are naturally blonde. Bleaching the hair helps the color stick better and you get a better looking result. Manic Panic has two bleach kits with strengths 30 vol and 40 vol.

Star Ultra Blue

This color is a blue color that makes the hair look like the inside of an eggplant! How many cans you need for your hair depends entirely on how much and how thick your hair is. Stargazer's hair dyes are very gentle on skin and hair, for example they do not contain ammonia (as many other tints do). If you bleach your hair before toning it, the toning usually makes the hair feel healthier afterwards instead of the other way around. Stargazer's hair colors can be mixed with each other to achieve a desired shade.
