Manic Panic and their hair color originates from St Marks place in New York. The store Manic Panic was started in 1977 by Tish and Snooky, who then played in Blondie. The idea behind this revolutionary brand came from wanting a rock and punk store where the customers themselves would wear everything they sold. Manic Panic has since developed and is today best known for its hair shades used by Marilyn Manson and Rihanna, among others. None of Manic Panic's colors are tested on animals.
